Setauket Yacht Club

The Setauket Yacht Club Racing Program includes a schedule of formal races as well as informal family races.

The Tuesday night Spring and Summer Series are competitive as well as fun. More experienced skippers are always on the lookout for volunteer crew; offering new members as excellent opportunity to gain racing experience. members participate in many hosted Invitaionals as well as in races sponsored by the club.

ThePort Jefferson Harbor Cup is the notable event of the year and brings in racing yachts from many regional clubs.

	SCHEDULE: • The first race of the Spring Series will be on Tuesday evening May 13th. Continuing every Tuesday evening for 7 races thru June 24th. • The Summer Series will start Tuesday July 3rd for 7 races thru August 14th. • Scoring will be based on best 4 out of 7 races for each series. • Kaltenborn Cup (night race) August 16. • Gilles Cup (distance race) September 6.
